We’re Taking Your Security to a Whole New Level

We use a strong multi-layer security when you log into online or mobile banking that not only confirms your credentials, it confirms the device you’re using.  When a new device is detected or our system detects suspicious activity, you will soon be asked to further verify your identity by entering a one-time passcode.

This strong approach to security provides simple access to your accounts and offers powerful protection against online fraud.

The first time you log into your account after January 24th, you will be prompted to enter at least one phone number. This number may be used to help authenticate your identity.  Then you may continue to securely log into your accounts.

If at any time you ever need to change this phone number, you may do so in the Profile section of your online or mobile banking session.

During future logins, if a new device is detected or our system suspects suspicious activity, you’ll be asked to further verify your identity by choosing a method to receive your passcode. Then, based on your selection, you’ll receive either a text message or a phone call containing your one-time passcode. Simply enter this code to securely log in.

Get Started with Online Banking

It’s easy to activate your online banking. If you have a Montgomery Bank account, just click the Enroll button below, fill out the short form, and follow the prompts to get started right away. Once you’re signed up, you can login anytime using the Login button at the top of our website. Bank On Your Smartphone by Downloading One of Our Apps

After you’ve enrolled in Online Banking, simply download one of our apps and login to gain access to all of our Mobile Banking options.

No Smartphone? No problem! Use Text Banking.

If you’d like to use Text Banking, make sure to setup “Mobile Banking” during the online banking enrollment process. During the Mobile Banking setup, select the option for “text alerts.” Once you’re finished with enrollment, you’ll receive a text message that will include the phone number to text for more information, plus a list of codes that can be used to receive different types of account information. Message and data rates may apply.

Signup for eStatements

A more secure and environmentally friendly way to bank.

To sign up for eStatements, log into your online banking account and select eStatement Enrollment. eStatements are a faster, safer, and more convenient way to get your bank statements. Once signed up, you will receive an e-mail notification when your next statement is ready for viewing.
